PIRATEx has already given us great advice and support in the run-up to the Hubitation finals. The complex event was then implemented professionally and successfully. Even in stressful situations, the crew always had the event firmly under control.

Description & Goal
The Hubitation Startup Week Finale was the highlight of the weeklong startup event. It featured 10 startup pitches and Q&A’s sessions with a live moderator in the studio. The startups and participants joined remote.
Technical Setup
Live-setup in a studio in Frankfurt. This included two cameras, light, a hardware streaming device, and laptops. The moderator hosted the event live and invited startups to join and then give their pitch.
Platform & Formats
The platform of choice was veertly, an all-round solution for virtual events. We were therefore able to host the live pitches, Q&A, Polls und award ceremony within the platform.
Key Learning
The setup of the studio has to be done at least 24h prior to the event. Also, make sure to be able to connect to the client’s internet. This can be an issue due to firewalls to plan ahead.
